ride2stride 2026. The steering committee is pleased to announce the dates for 2026. The festival will take place from Tuesday April 28th to Monday May 4th. As before there is no need to book. Just turn up at the station indicated on the programme where leaders will be waiting for you.. All walks will finish at a station in time for your return train towards Leeds and Carlisle. (Your leaders will be travelling by train.) The launch day will be on Friday May 1st. to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the first passenger train on the Settle and Carlisle line. The weekend will reflect this. There will be prelaunch walks on the preceding days. The programme should be available in the New Year. We look forward to welcomig you.
